Plant Cell cultures require a strictly controlled environment which will provide correct growth conditions. These cultures have to be isolated from all outside contamination. Hence the main laboratory working area is protected by airlocks, positive pressure and all staff wear laboratory clothing.
Every laboratory is designed to meet the client’s needs and his particular environment. If suitable, some existing buildings can be converted at a reasonable cost or large storage units can house a prefabricated laboratory.
Mobile shipping containers are now converted into positive pressure laboratories and shipped to a desired location, where they are assembled on site. Work force training takes place in the newly installed laboratory.
